As this position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, US Citizenship is required.
Description:
We are currently searching for an Accountant to perform the complete AP process and other related accounting functions. A typical day will include matching invoice to PO, seeking appropriate approval for invoices and entering invoices into Deltek system. Other duties will include Printing AP checks to pay vendors timely. Prepare Journal Entries for a timely and accurate month close. This position also has the potential to grow into a Staff / Senior Accountant type role.
Responsibilities:
- Match AP Invoices with PO and Requisition, enter into Deltek System
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status
- Prepare journal entries
- Participate in month end close process
Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting Degree
- At least 5 years AP experience
- Some General Ledger Experience
- Excel User
